"Kasey,
I'm looking for a snack that I can have that will actually fill me up. I seem for be snacking on everything and never feeling full. What are some snacks that will be satisfying and keep me away from munching?" - Jessica from Boston, MA

I know how you feel! I'm such a munchie maniac but I'm learning to get better.
So, the most important part about snacking and feeling full is to not eay empty calories. Sure those 100 Calorie packs are convenient but they are only shrinking your favorite guilty pleasure and you end up having 100 calories, feeling unsatisfied, and tempted to grab another pack!
Instead, opt for whole wheat, fiber-packed snacks and those loaded with protein. Try whole wheat crackers with hummus or low-fat cheese slices.
Trying to watch your carbs? God bless ya! But you can swap the crackers for celery, carrots, or my favorite...cucumbers!

Now obviously fruit is a healthy snack. But its mostly water and won't fill you up. So pump it up but spreading some low-fat peanut butter on apple slices or have whole wheat toast with banana and low-fat PB. So Good!

Still hungry? Well I'm one of those people who like crunchy and salty snacks, especially chips! Rice cakes and soy crisps are my favorite alternative. The extra protein in the soy will pump up your energy.
Helpful hint... drink a bottle of water with your rice cakes or crisps and you will be filled right up!

Hope that helped!
